This original Fall 1958 edition of Vacationland, published by Disneyland, is a rare and authentic promotional booklet distributed during the early years of the park’s operation. The editorial and creative team behind this issue included Ed Ettinger (Editor), Milt Albright (Disneyland Promotions Manager), and Jack Lindquist (Advertising Manager), all of whom were instrumental in shaping Disneyland’s public image during the 1950s. The booklet’s visual design was overseen by Bob Moore, a prominent Disney artist known for his work across studio publications and park materials.

Photography featured in this issue is attributed to Renie Bardeau, whose iconic documentation of Disneyland helped define its visual legacy. Illustrations and layout elements were contributed by Charles Boyer, Disneyland’s first official park artist, whose work captured the spirit of the themed lands.

This edition includes verified content on the debut of the Columbia Sailing Ship, which launched in 1958 as a full-scale replica of the original 18th-century vessel.
