This rare and authentic program cover and accompanying playbill from the Theatre Guild National Company’s 1946 Curran Theatre production of Oklahoma—a landmark American musical by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II—offers a vivid snapshot of post-war Broadway on tour. It opened on Thursday, February 7, 1946, under the direction of Rouben Mamoulian, with original dances by Agnes de Mille and production supervision by Theresa Helburn and Lawrence Langner, reproduced by Jerome Whyte.
